Project Details:

The event was held under the banner, “Join the LG team. Win a ticket to Formula One!” for the purpose of expanding the target audience's interest in the company's products as well as boosting its sales of mobile phones.

In order to participate in the event, a person needed to buy one of LG's mobile phones (Arena (KM900), Viewty2 (GC900), KS 660, KP500, H (GD330), Julia (GB230), and Brio (GM200)) from August 5 until September 15. Thus, LG was focusing on cultivating a truly brand loyal target audience through this event. Fabulous prizes were prepared for give-away to the lucky winners: 50 tickets for seats at the Formula 1 rally held in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) from 30 October until 1 November 2009.

In order to become a participant of the lottery, an LG buyer needed to send an SMS with the 15-digit IMEI code of the phone, located under the battery, to the number 6342. After this he would receive an SMS-confirmation regarding the successfully completed registration.
